Interesting read. I enjoyed that. Your childhood and personality sound so much like my own that it could easily have been about me. Everything is similar except for the banjo part. I never had the opportunity to play a stringed instrument as a child. So, now I’ve began my journey well into my 40’s. I find it difficult but if I get halfway to a “reasonable facsimile” level on my banjo before I die, I will be thrilled. I’m hoping I can overcome my tendency to say “someday” and lose all ambition for it.
